Every year, there is a Year 9 residential stay in a French château in Normandy where students receive language lessons and experience a host of activities designed to motivate an interest in the French language and culture. The group is accompanied by members of the Department. Plans this year include a Sixth Form residential stay in France for intensive oral practice and a Year 10 immersion trip to Spain.
