| Department Facilities The Learning Support Department works in partnership with the mainstream academic departments to address the specific learning difficulties of approximately 10% of the senior school roll. The school follows the guidelines set out in the Code of Practice for SEN (DfES, 2001) and identification, assessment and provision procedures are in place to support this process. |
| Exam Board and Specification The Department takes responsibility for arranging assessments with the Educational Psychologist if special concessions are considered appropriate. Regular staff training takes place in order to ensure current legislative information is followed through and pupils receive appropriate advice and support.
