Prep Policy

Prep tasks are set for Year 9 and above. The Information Technology Department follows the prep policy and the marking policy defined in the whole school policy documents and within the following guidelines:

• A prep task should be set once a week.

• Prep tasks should be accessible to students who may not have computer access outside of normal school hours.

• Prep tasks should be appropriate for the capability of the student.

• Preps should be linked to the lesson content and reinforce the learning objectives of the lesson.

• Longer term activities will be appropriate in connection with project and course work.
