1 The C.C.F. is NOT a recruiting base for the Forces, it exists to encourage and develop skills of leadership, self-reliance and teaching amongst its members.

2 The firing of air rifles, .22 rifles and 5.56mm rifles are a compulsory part of the training; this is done on designated open ranges and the small indoor range at school.

3 If a cadet should wish to leave the contingent they are perfectly free to do so after an initial period of twelve months; thereafter it is a voluntary affair. We would ask, however, for parents to give notice in writing to the School Staff Instructor. This enables the accounts to be properly balanced and kit issue and return (accountable to the Army) under control. When kit is returned, would you kindly ensure that it is cleaned as outlined under ?uniform? above.

If you require any further information either ring 01985 210118 and speak to the School Staff Instructor or email ccf@warminsterschool.org.uk
